The Stables Villa - Edale

My recent stay at a charming country cottage was good! The house was clean, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed. The location was ideal, surrounded by beautiful countryside and bridleways to explore. The hosts were kind and accommodating, ensuring a warm and comfortable experience. I especially appreciated their attention to detail, such as providing milk, lemon cake, and even the oil we requested. I highly recommend this wonderful accommodation.

Humorous experience at the holiday home's garden: While staying at the property in Edale, I couldn't help but chuckle at the size of the garden. It was so spacious that I thought I had stumbled into a secret enchanted forest! I half-expected to see fairies and gnomes hiding among the flowers and trees. It was a delightful place to relax and unwind.

Great location! The area is stunning for walks and exploring. Plus, the cottage itself is spacious and well-equipped. I loved having a utility room to dry our wet coats - super handy! And the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was also very helpful and gave us some great recommendations for nearby trails.

No clear instructions were provided, and the postcode took us to a completely different spot. I tried calling the number provided, but got no response.

We had a delightful weekend at The Stables in Edale. The hosts, Mr & Mrs Elliot, were incredibly kind and the cottage was meticulously clean and well-prepared for guests. They even provided thoughtful touches such as milk, lemon cake, and oil upon request. The hosts also recommended some fantastic hiking trails in the beautiful surrounding area. The cottage itself was spacious and had all the necessary amenities, including a useful utility room for drying our wet coats. The kitchen was well-equipped, and there were plenty of maps, books, and board games available for use. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!
